Roads:
GATVOL
As the word says – let’s fill those holes in our roads! Through a partnership with CPR (Cold Pothole Repair), we have access to the most amazing pothole filler. This is a simple “throw and go” DIY solution. Let’s not only mind the gaps but fill them in too through serving together.

Road Painting:
DRAW THE LINE
Let us take pride in our own communities by giving new life to dull road signs. Not only will these signs be more visible, increasing the road safety of our communities, but we can also get to know our neighbours by drawing a line on apathy, increasing our networks of familiar faces and repaint and revisit our personal outlook too.

Gardens for Life:
PADKOS ‘SKAFTIN'
Turn back to nature and help communities, and especially children, grow their own veggies. This simplified hydroponic system uses recycled items such as , plastic bottles and old tyres to create a “battery pack” for the supernatural growth of veggies. We need all hands-on-deck to champion this drive, taking this project to the people and growing valuable friendships whilst helping to feed the nation nutritious and accessible food.

Cleaning:
TRASH FOR CASH
Utilising the opportunity to exchange trash for cash, we can secure a better future for our children as we go. As we create a cleaner environment for all to live in, we also pioneer new and creative ways and ideas for recycling and upcycling as we empower people.Let’s start at home: BAG-IT. This is a simple way to help those recycling heroes by separating glass, paper, metal, plastic, textiles etc. Materials should be separated, not people. Be part of giving someone else a helping hand.
Hospitals:
IMPILO
Take care and uplift those who takes care of us. This serving platform aims to honour those who serve our community by acknowledging their commitment to us. This include personnel working at emergency and medical services like hospitals, police stations, fire brigades etc. Nothing is as precious as a “thank you” and a small token of appreciation like a fruit, coffee, etc. after or before a long 12-hour shift!

YUMMY TREES
It all starts with a seed. Let’s multiply the seed in fertile ground and harvest the fruit. Help us to reap the fruit of this drive to plant more trees in public and shared spaces like streets, schools, hospitals, clinics, parks, etc. to create a healthier and greener environment and improve food-security.

There is one small step between still standing and falling. Let’s reach a helping hand to those who often feel invisible. Paying a little kindness can make a huge and welcome difference - especially for the homeless. Something as little as a smile or friendly gesture can brighten their day, contribute a sense of dignity and help them fight feelings of isolation, depression and embarrassment they face every day. Let’s be the change we want to see in our beautiful country!

STREET SCHOOL
Open up a whole new world to the illiterate by teaching others to read and/or write. Helping someone to write their name will count as an enormous victory and guide them towards gaining independence. Teaching others to read will open a range of opportunities to the illiterate, the forgotten and the marginalised.
Orphans:

"It takes a village to raise a child.” Let us not let orphans down by making them feel disconnected or unloved. By reaching out to an orphan, we can give them the gift of a home, the feeling of family, food, clothing or even an opportunity to receive education. Help them feel loved and valuable, to have a relationship they can rely on through the worst or best days of their lives. Let’s fill the void.

Join this formidable team that champions the mobile shower drive to restore dignity with love, water and soap. Street Shower is a mobile shower and serving station for the homeless, the widow, the orphan, the rejected. Through serving them with love, kindness and grace, we can help restore their dignity and help them feel refreshed.
Caring:
LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOUR
Now, more than ever, your neighbour may be in need of a helping hand — and you can be a good neighbour while still maintain social distance. For instance, you can call or text your neighbour to check in, you can leave a note in his or her mailbox or under the door, or simply just “pay it forward” with some food hampers or any other form of a grace-gift.

Combat xenophobia and reach out to desolate people of our continent. Oftentimes these people, who have left their loved ones behind, are unwelcome in communities and frowned upon. We are all children of Africa, strangers do not necessarily mean danger.

Grandmas are precious but often times overwhelmed, too busy, too lonely or too fragile to complete their daily chores or even do the most basic tasks for themselves. If you would like to spend more time with an elderly person or give them a helping hand while having access to a source of wisdom, don’t back out on them.
